West Monroe Hires Accenture Executive John Rosato to Lead Technology & Experience

Firm invests to rapidly scale its technology prowess, building on an already strong foundation of experienced capabilities and leadership

West Monroe, a global business and technology consulting firm, announced that John Rosato has joined the firm as its Technology & Experience Lead. A seasoned executive with a track record of scaling modern technology businesses, Rosato will oversee the continued growth and evolution of West Monroe’s core technology capabilities, which spans Data & Analytics, Product & Experience, Software, Platforms & Customer Strategy, and Cybersecurity & Enterprise Technology—with applied AI informing and enhancing every layer of our technical expertise.

Rosato brings a rare blend of entrepreneurial drive and enterprise leadership. He joins from Accenture, where he most recently served as a leader in its multi-billiondollar Infrastructure Engineering business, overseeing far-reaching technology transformations for Fortune 2000 clients. Prior to that, he served as CEO of CS Technology, a fast-growing infrastructure transformation firm acquired by Accenture in 2021.

Rosato’s appointment reflects West Monroe’s commitment to scaling its Technology & Experience practice to a new level—one that sharpens commercial strategy, amplifies the influence of our multidisciplinary teams, and applies AI with deep industry context to accelerate value with clients. As West Monroe continues to deepen its relationships with partners like Databricks, Salesforce, and ServiceNow, his leadership will be key to translating those alliances into new growth opportunities and differentiated solutions for clients.

“John brings a lot of energy, skill, and enthusiasm, and it matches the momentum at West Monroe right now,” said Gil Mermelstein, CEO of West Monroe. “He has a clear vision and knows how to turn technology into business results. He will work incredibly closely with our tenured and highly talented technology leaders to elevate and scale the exceptional work they’re already delivering.”

In this new role, Rosato will work alongside the Technology and Experience leadership team—each focused on their respective disciplines—to unify, grow, and innovate across the portfolio. He will also partner with the firm’s industry and functional leaders and work closely with Chief AI Officer Bret Greenstein to embed AI across the firm’s technology offerings, helping clients move from experimentation to real-world adoption.

“I’m thrilled to join West Monroe at such an inflection point,” said Rosato, who will also join the firm’s executive leadership team. “West Monroe is known for its entrepreneurial culture and its client-first approach—but what really stood out to me is its runway for growth. We have an opportunity to shape the next era of consulting—one that’s not just digitally enabled but AI-native, tech-forward, and built for speed. I’m excited to get to work.”

Rosato’s appointment follows West Monroe’s recent announcements of a new Chief AI Officer and a new President, both hired under new CEO Gil Mermelstein. The new leadership reflects the next chapter of innovation for the firm—one that continues its focus on embedding AI across every part of the consulting model, from insight to execution.
