VulnCheck Announces Strategic Leadership Appointments to Accelerate Growth

Expanding Leadership Team to Meet Surging Demand for Exploit Intelligence

VulnCheck, the exploit intelligence company, announced two key executive hires as the company continues to scale to meet increasing global demand for its exploit intelligence solutions. Mike Price joins VulnCheck as Vice President of Product & Engineering, and Jon Loehr joins as Vice President of Finance.

Price brings decades of experience in cybersecurity and technology leadership to VulnCheck. Most recently, serving as Chief Technology Officer at ZeroFox, he drove innovation across AI, intelligence, operations, and software engineering, helping grow ARR to over $100M and supporting the company through a successful IPO. His career includes roles at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Foundstone, McAfee, and two startups acquired by Symantec and ZeroFox. Price holds 20 patents, has authored numerous publications, and earned advanced degrees in security and intelligence.

Loehr joins VulnCheck from HubSpot, where he held leadership positions across finance and people teams. Prior to HubSpot, Jon led Financial Planning and Analysis at Carbon Black, playing a pivotal role in taking the company public. His deep expertise in strategic and operational finance will be instrumental as VulnCheck expands its market presence and scales operations.

“These appointments mark an exciting chapter in the story of VulnCheck’s journey,” said Anthony Bettini, founder and CEO, VulnCheck. “Mike’s proven ability to scale advanced technical teams and Jon’s financial acumen will help us accelerate innovation and deliver even greater value to our customers.”

The new appointments come amidst a period of record-setting ARR growth and follow recent additions to VulnCheck’s leadership team, which earlier welcomed Caitlin Condon as Vice President of Security Research and added Patrick Morley, former CEO of Carbon Black, to its Board of Directors. VulnCheck also recently announced its game-changing Canary Intelligence solution, a first-of-its-kind product that provides defenders with real-time, first-party exploitation evidence observed from its globally deployed “canaries.” This intentionally vulnerable infrastructure gives organizations unprecedented context for identifying and responding to emerging threats.

VulnCheck plans to continue expanding its team and investing in product innovation to deliver the most comprehensive exploit intelligence solutions on the market. These strategic moves position the company to meet growing customer demand and strengthen its leadership in vulnerability and exploit intelligence.
