Recognizing the need for private company intelligence to drive effective dealmaking, Nasser co-founded Sourcescrub in 2015 with childhood friend Tyler Fair who also worked in the industry. The mission to unlock private markets through innovation and data-driven clarity continues to animate the work at Sourcescrub.

“I’m thrilled to be back at Sourcescrub at a time when there are exciting opportunities for innovation and expansion,” said Nasser. “Since inception, we’ve been focused on building tools that pave the way for investors to discover the best deals. We have an incredible team and long history in the space that contributes to a market-leading set of private market data assets to differentiate us from our peers. I look forward to working with the team to achieve even greater success.”

Nasser takes over for Jim Obsitnik who was named CEO in January 2023 and successfully guided the company through a period of rapid growth as he built out the leadership team now in place.

“Jim led Soucescrub through a critical period of growth and development,” said Ashley Evans and Gavin Turner, Sourcescrub board members. “We’re extremely grateful for his contributions, as we are also grateful to Prescott for stepping back into an operating role at this key juncture.”
