ShipBob, a leading global supply chain and fulfillment platform for SMB and mid-market omnichannel merchants, today announced the hiring of Adam Patnaude as Chief Financial Officer. Patnaude brings over 25 years of experience at global organizations, working with founders, executives and Boards on capital structure, financial planning, capital allocation, M&A, and investor relations strategies.
Patnaude joins ShipBob from Grubhub, a leading online food delivery marketplace, where he spent the last nine years in various financial and strategic roles, including the last four as CFO. During his time at Grubhub, Patnaude helped the company grow from approximately $2.5 billion of Gross Transaction Value to over $10 billion. Prior to Grubhub, Patnaude served at the VP level at both Orbitz and Goldman Sachs.

Patnaude brings deep expertise in scaling tech-enabled, asset-light businesses with strong network effects. With over 200 million orders fulfilled through ShipBob’s global fulfillment network, he is uniquely positioned to harness the interrelated dynamics of supply and demand and leverage the economies of scale of the business to deliver better outcomes for both ShipBob’s merchants and its merchants’ customers.
