Omnivore, a technology company serving the restaurant industry, has named Dan Singer as Chief Executive Officer and hired Shane Whitlatch as Chief Revenue Officer. Both executives have significant experience in leading fast-growth companies.
The executive appointments come after Omnivore’s successful Series A funding round, raising $13 million from notable investors including The Coca-Cola Company, Performance Food Group and Tampa Bay Lightning owner Jeff Vinik, in 2018. The investments have fueled the company’s growth, with more than 24,000 locations using Omnivore.

Singer was appointed CEO after leading Omnivore through new challenges facing the restaurant industry from the COVID-19 pandemic, using the company’s Menu Management System to help restaurants adapt to increased carryout and delivery demand and launch virtual kitchens.
Prior to Omnivore, Singer was the Vice President of Finance for global privacy company FairWarning where he played a key role in growing the company to a globally recognized leader in its industry. He worked with the executive leadership team to prepare the company for a $60 million growth equity investment from Mainsail Partners in June 2018, and stayed with the firm for the following 18 months.

Omnivore hired Shane Whitlatch as Chief Revenue Officer to lead all aspects of revenue generation, from sales to partnerships, in December 2020. He brings more than 20 years in working with fast-growth technology companies to gain and retain clients, develop new partnerships and elevate brand awareness.
Prior to Omnivore, Whitlatch was Senior Vice President of Sales at CynergisTek, a cybersecurity firm focused on the healthcare industry, where he led the company’s business development and sales strategy. Previously, Whitlatch held roles creating and leading the sales, customer success, and partnership efforts at FairWarning, then served as general manager of its healthcare business. The company grew from 20 customers to more than 350 enterprise customers globally, including 35% of U.S. health systems, with Whitlatch’s leadership.
