Mitel Bolsters International Sales Team to Drive Global Expansion

Simon Skellon appointed SVP and Head of International Region covering EMEA (excluding DACH) and APAC

Mitel®, a global leader in business communications, announced the appointment of Simon Skellon as SVP and Head of International Region. In this role he will be responsible for leading the sales strategy of the business in the EMEA – with the exception of Germany, Austria and Switzerland – and APAC regions, supporting the company’s global expansion plans following the acquisition of Unify in 2023.

With over 25 years of experience in the business communications industry, Simon offers a wealth of knowledge of the unified communications (UC) market and has successfully built deep relationships with channel and value-added resellers operating in multiple markets. He spent over 18 years of his career working in a range of sales leadership roles at Mitel before joining Atos Unify where he was responsible for developing, managing, and executing the company’s strategy across over 50 markets

In his new role, Simon will be supported by an expanded sales leadership team including:

  • Stuart Aldridge, Head of UK, Ireland, and South Africa
  • Christophe Chamy, VP Southern Europe including France, French speaking Africa, Italy and Iberia
  • Thomas Veit, VP Northern Europe including Benelux, the Nordics, the CIS countries, Poland and Eastern Europe
  • Narayan Gurusamy, Head of APAC/MENA covering India, China, ASEAN, Turkey
  • Terence Tutaan, Head of Australia, New Zealand, and Pacific Islands
