DMI, a Global Leader in Intelligent Digital Transformation, Appoints Cybersecurity Industry Leader Chad Sweet to Board of Directors

Chertoff Group Co-Founder and CEO Brings Nearly Three Decades of Cybersecurity and Government Technology Experience

DMI (“the Company”), a global digital transformation solutions company, announced the appointment of Chad Sweet to its Board of Directors. Mr. Sweet is the Co-Founder and CEO of The Chertoff Group, a security risk management advisory firm, and brings nearly 30 years of security expertise, technology insights and policy intelligence to the Company’s Board of Directors. In connection with his appointment, MC2, the private equity affiliate of The Chertoff Group, made an equity co-investment as part of DMI’s recapitalization led by OceanSound Partners, LP (“OceanSound”).

Founded in 2009, The Chertoff Group is a recognized leader in security and risk management advisory services, providing commercial and government clients with insights around security technology, global threats, strategy and public policy to enable a more secure world. Before co-founding The Chertoff Group, Mr. Sweet served as the Chief of Staff of the United States Department of Homeland Security (“DHS”). Mr. Sweet began his career in the CIA’s National Clandestine Service and later worked as an investment banker at Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs. Mr. Sweet is also a Member of the DHS Homeland Security Advisory Council, an Advisor to the National Cyber Moonshot Project and a frequent commentator on national security issues for CNN, FOX, and CNBC. Mr. Sweet graduated with honors from Columbia University.
