Former VMware CMO and Silicon Valley Veteran Brings Extensive Expertise in Enterprise Infrastructure, Cloud, and Security to Support Cohesity’s Rapid Growth and Momentum
Cohesity announced it has added Silicon Valley veteran Robin Matlock to its board of directors. Matlock brings more than 30 years of marketing, sales, and business development experience to the board spanning a variety of markets including enterprise software, cloud services, and security.

Matlock most recently served as chief marketing officer (CMO) at VMware, a position she held for seven years. During her eleven years with the company, she helped shape the company’s business and go to market strategy and played a key role in scaling the company’s revenues from $2B to $11B.
Before joining VMware, Matlock was executive vice president and general manager at the data security company Imperva. Prior to that, she spent more than five years at McAfee, serving in several roles including vice president of product marketing and senior vice president of field marketing. Matlock currently serves as an independent director with information management company Iron Mountain. She is an executive advisor to People.ai, a revenue acceleration startup, and Calamu, a disruptive data security company.
