CMX Appoints Bert Clement as CEO to Scale EQMS Leader’s Next Phase of Growth

CMX Founder and Former CEO Mitch Porche Moves to Chief Strategy Officer Role to Focus on Company Vision and Product Innovation; COO James Gunn-Wilkinson Promoted to President

CMX, a leading provider of Enterprise Quality Management Software (EQMS), announced the appointment of Bert Clement to CEO, succeeding Company Founder Mitch Porche in this role. Porche will now serve as Chief Strategy Officer, a new position, with responsibility for product innovation and long-term vision. CMX also announced that COO James Gunn-Wilkinson has been promoted to President and COO.

With more than 25 years of leadership experience in both public and private companies, Clement will leverage his background in supply chain; enterprise auditing; and governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) to drive growth and deliver value to CMX customers. Since 2016, he has served as CEO of Retail Solutions, Inc. (RSi), a leading provider of data-driven supply chain solutions for consumer packaged goods manufacturers and retailers.

Gunn-Wilkinson, who shepherded CMX through 10 years of successful growth, will work side by side with Clement as he continues to play an instrumental role in the company’s operations, strategy, and expansion.
