The two key leadership changes arrive alongside the company’s brand unveiling in January 2022.
66degrees, a Google Premier Partner, has appointed Darshan Puttannaiah as Chief Technology Officer and Chris Resch as Chief Revenue Officer. Both Puttannaiah and Resch are highly accomplished leaders with long careers in cloud computing.
Darshan Puttannaiah has over 20 years of experience in development and helping businesses modernize and transform with the cloud. Puttannaiah founded Qwinix in 2014. As founder and CEO, he grew the company into a leading Google Cloud Partner with over 200 employees globally. In 2021, he helped orchestrate a growth-focused merger of Qwinix and Cloudbakers alongside Sunstone Partners, which ultimately formed 66degrees. Puttannaiah’s new role will be focused on driving innovation and ensuring the team is at the leading edge of technology.

Chris Resch joined Cloudbakers as General Manager of Google Cloud Delivery Services in Feb. 2021. Previously, Resch was EVP at 2nd Watch, where he led the Field Sales and Delivery teams. Resch also served as Principal Practice Manager at Amazon Web Services, executing some of the first enterprise migrations to the public cloud. In his new role, will be focused on growing the business through Sales, Marketing, and Alliance with Google Cloud.
Both executives have a track record of dynamic leadership and inclusion while helping cloud consultancies scale rapidly and effectively.
