“Education is a pathway to opportunity, and we’re excited to help enable students to focus on their goals, rather than the financial barriers which might stand in their way,” says Lyse Cornelius-Biggs, Director of Talent Enablement at Varicent. “We are committed to long-term growth and development of these students. That is why our E.D.G.E. Scholarship is a renewable scholarship, meaning students can win more than one year in a row, if they continue to meet the requirements. We not only want to help students overcome the point of entry into university, but we want to help them reach their goals. We want to see them finish.”
The E.D.G.E. Scholarship Program is one of the initiatives under Our Cause, which is the larger corporate social responsibly commitment Varicent is making to apply science and technology to address some of the world’s most pressing challenges.
