Kroger and DoorDash to Bring Fast, Convenient Grocery Delivery to Millions Nationwide

Kroger expands DoorDash relationship, gaining incremental customers and occasions, plus new retail media channels

Starting October 1, nearly 2,700 Kroger stores will launch on DoorDash, giving customers nationwide access to fresh and affordable groceries in as little as an hour

DoorDash, a global leader in local commerce, and The Kroger Co., America’s grocer, announced an expansion of their relationship to bring Kroger’s full grocery assortment, including fresh food, exclusive Our Brands products, and affordable everyday essentials to customers. Through the expanded relationship, Kroger will make shopping easier for customers, leverage the company’s growing store network in new ways, and attract new households and incremental shopping occasions.

Customers want the convenience of on-demand delivery paired with value and savings from their favorite local grocer. Kroger has long been one of the most searched and requested grocers on DoorDash. Beginning October 1, customers can shop Kroger’s full grocery assortment — from fresh foods to household staples, including its popular Our Brand products — across banners like Mariano’s, Fred Meyer, Ralphs, and Harris Teeter, all on DoorDash. Along with fast delivery, they will enjoy Kroger deals, everyday affordability, and loyalty program discounts seamlessly integrated into the DoorDash app.

Kroger will reach incremental new customers and serve new occasions through its launch on the DoorDash Marketplace. Tens of millions of DoorDash customers seeking fresh groceries and household essentials will be able to shop Kroger’s Family of Stores directly on DoorDash. The companies will also collaborate on joint innovation, beginning with retail media, insights for brand partners, and new delivery models that leverage Kroger’s store network and DoorDash’s technology to help brands grow and engage customers in more relevant ways.
