George Cagle joins Zype to lead professional services and sales, and drive growth
Zype, the infrastructure for digital video, today announced George Cagle as the new Vice President of Professional Services. With 20 years of experience in senior professional services and program management roles, Cagle will lead all aspects of Zype’s services sales, business development, operations, and more.

As part of his role at Zype, Cagle will lead Zype’s Professional Services (ZPS) team, optimizing customer engagements for the highest quality of delivery and customer satisfaction. Prior to Zype, Cagle held a leadership role at Accela, where he was Senior Director, Delivery. There, he oversaw the professional services business for Accela’s Southeast region of the United States, helping major municipalities effectively migrate legacy technology and paper to modern, SaaS multi-device applications. Previous to his time at Accela, Cagle spent over six years with Ooyala, a pioneering provider of OTT, content production, and digital video distribution solutions. As the Director of Professional Services, he led the U.S. East region professional services’ profit and loss organization and oversaw the company’s video asset ingestion, multi-channel video distribution, and subscription streaming services to major broad and video content providers. Adding to his years of extensive experience in the professional services, Cagle held management roles at companies including Adobe Systems, Microsoft, and Oracle.
