Write Label, the world’s leading creative writing platform, has announced that it has hired Zack Brown as Head of Sales. The news comes as the business pivots into the brand and agency space after more than 300% growth thus far in 2020.

Write Label offers a suite of products that directly address the creative pain points in the constantly evolving working landscape. Brown is tasked with seamlessly integrating communities of freelance creatives into the daily workflow of brands and agencies and will also be tasked with growth, culture and building a robust sales team by creating value for enterprise partnerships.
Brown joins Write Label from Shutterstock, where he launched the company’s international enterprise sales division with a multi-million-dollar deal with Pearson Education. He negotiated advertising holding company relationships with InterPublic Group, WPP and Publicis Groupe which have generated more than $100 million in revenue. Brown has more than two decades of experience in intellectual property licensing, having previously worked for Getty Images.

Write Label is continuing its work in championing the integration of diverse voices through its community approach to content creation. Brown will also play a leading role in ensuring the platform represents diverse voices, and building cohorts of Black writers.
