Media Chain, the social-first publishing arm of Social Chain, has announced the appointment of Jon Edwards as Head of Sales. Jon previously held the role of Brand Partnerships Account Director at LadBible group, and was also formerly at the Trinity Mirror.
At Media Chain, Jon will be based in London, and will hold responsibility of all Media Chain brand partnership sales across the UK. He will initially focus on growing the social media publishing business and will work to deliver highly engaging and effective campaigns.

Previously Jon has held positions at LadBible group, Hearst and Trinity Mirror, and has worked with the likes of PepsiCo, Amazon, Sony Columbia, Ladbrokes Coral & Warner Brothers. He is well versed in the commercial world of social media, and was part of the original commercial set up at UNILAD, helping to grow the company through successful social and digital brand partnerships. As part of the acquisition by LADbible Group at the end of 2018, Jon joined the new wider commercial team, servicing the Independent Agency. Jon aided in growing this side of the business over 200%.
