“ResortPass gives us an opportunity to optimize our cabanas and pool-side amenities revenue in all channels and maximize revenue potential,” said Chanaka Gamaethige, senior director of revenue strategy at Omni Hotels & Resorts.
With the demand for travel returning, many people are looking for local daytime experiences and escapes that do not require an overnight stay or traveling far distances. Implementing an online reservation system provides a turn-key way to capitalize on this demand and fill in the gaps hotels experience with leisure guests. With complete control over what to offer, how many, and what days, hotels can benefit from a new revenue stream and increased F&B seamlessly and with no overhead costs.
ResortPass also provides the full inventory management and reservation system for overnight guests as well as day guests. Hotels can upsell on-property amenities and activities to hotel guests pre-arrival or during their stay through a white-labelled booking site exclusively for overnight guests. With one centralized platform, hotels such as the Omni Hotels & Resorts properties, can yield manage non-room amenities and assets in the same way that rooms are optimized with dynamic pricing across multiple online channels.
“We are very excited to be expanding our selection of hotels for our users and new markets with this partnership with Omni Hotels & Resorts,” said Romina Rozensztajn, Global VP of Sales & Account Management for ResortPass. “It is expected to drive significant new revenue for Omni Hotels & Resorts and help to increase F&B volumes across the Collection. In addition, it opens up a larger inventory for our current and new ResortPass users to enjoy.”
