JDA Names Sue Savage Pirri Chief Financial Officer

Pirri’s Extensive Experience With Business Transformation and Optimization at Fortune 500 Company Autodesk Will Help Lead JDA to Next Level of Growth

JDA Software, Inc. announced the appointment of Sue Savage Pirri as executive vice president and chief financial officer (CFO). Pirri joins JDA from Fortune 500 technology pioneer Autodesk, where she was a key player in the company’s business transformation from perpetual license to a subscription-based model. In her new role, Pirri will oversee all aspects of finance including financial strategy, planning and analysis, accounting, tax, treasury, and investor relations. As JDA’s CFO Pirri will drive strategy and execution as the company continues on its SaaS transformation journey, advancing a culture of collaboration, innovation and operational excellence for JDA’s global finance and accounting teams. Pirri replaces Kevin Moriarty who recently left the company.

Pirri joins JDA after 17 years at Autodesk, a multi-national software corporation with more than $3 billion in annual revenue and more than 10,000 employees. There she held a variety of financial management and investor relations roles and since 2012, as Vice President of Finance, has been responsible for financial planning, forecasting, reporting and analysis for the company’s worldwide field operations. She led the finance efforts to redesign sales compensation and partner incentive plans to successfully drive Autodesk’s business model transformation. As a member of the leadership team she played a key role in the formation of a council of C-level executives to improve the company’s operational effectiveness and led an initiative to drive more than $50 million in cost savings. Earlier in her career Pirri held positions at Digital Island, Electronic Arts, AirTouch Communications and Coopers & Lybrand. Throughout her career she’s led initiatives to optimize the business, scale for growth, and develop associates.
