Windfelder, a distinguished industry stalwart with an impressive 20-year trajectory across some of the globe’s premier technology giants, will be entrusted with steering SafeGuard Cyber’s business development pursuits. He will craft and oversee the firm’s go-to-market strategy, especially in the sphere of digital communications security and compliance solutions. This esteemed position will have him directly reporting to the company’s CEO, Chris Lehman.

Prior to joining SafeGuard Cyber, Windfelder served as Area Vice President for Americas Sales at ExtraHop, where for over four years he helped lead the company’s transformation into a cybersecurity company and leader in the Enterprise Network Detection and Response (NDR) market. During Windfelder’s time at ExtraHop, he held various senior roles, ranging from Sr. Director of Sales and Regional Sales Manager, Security Sales as the company achieved 700% record growth in ARR, bookings and revenue, culminating in the successful sale of the business. Prior to ExtraHop, Windfelder was a consistent top performer as an individual contributor at FireEye, Syncplicity, EMC and Documentum.
