Mercedes-Benz USA Appoints Senol Bayrak Vice President, Sales & Product Management

Mercedes-Benz USA announced the appointment of Senol Bayrak to the position of vice president, sales and product management, effective November 1, 2021. Bayrak succeeds Adam Chamberlain who, after 12 years, will leave the company and pursue opportunities outside of Daimler.

In his new role, Bayrak will have overall responsibility for the company’s sales, volume planning, distribution operations and product management as a member of MBUSA’s executive management team, reporting directly to MBUSA President and CEO, Dimitris Psillakis.

Bayrak started his career with Daimler in 2004, working for the smart brand in various positions in product and project management. After nearly 9 years in Germany, he relocated to Beijing in 2013 to serve as the head of corporate communications for Daimler Greater China Ltd. In 2015, Bayrak moved over to Mercedes-Benz China to help build up the division’s product management team before becoming its head of product management in 2018. In his most recent role, Bayrak returned to Stuttgart to serve as the director of product management for SUV and Electric models as well as market intelligence and competitor analysis.
