Cloudreach created a next-generation, massive-scale Event Threat Detection Platform hosted on Google Cloud for a major U.S. city. The solution followed a cloud-first strategy using Google Cloud Platform (GCP), infrastructure as code, and a BeyondCorp security model that builds upon years of designing zero-trust networking. Cloudreach created a Security Event and Information Management (SIEM) data pipeline that can log and aggregate event streams from over 400,000 devices. Over time, the goal is for the system to leverage AI capabilities to detect and respond to cybersecurity threats in real-time for the city’s systems.

Over the years, Cloudreach has spearheaded numerous advancements in cloud security on Google Cloud’s platform in order to best facilitate rapid and secure adoption of the platform, including building the Minimum Viable Cloud for Financial Services, on behalf of PSO, and helping to author the Cloud Security Engineer Certification. Cloudreach have also just co-authored a Security Playbook for Private Equity, in partnership with Google Cloud.
