Aras Welcomes Industry Veteran Marc de Guiran as Chief Revenue Officer to Lead Go-To-Market Organization

Aras, the only resilient platform provider for digital industrial applications, announced that Marc de Guiran has joined the company as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). He will own Aras’ go-to-market operations and playbook, drive an industry-leading low customer acquisition cost methodology, and optimize the marketing and sales pipeline creation to fuel Aras’ growth ambitions. Marc takes over this role from Martin Allemann. Martin joined Aras in 2008, built the European presence and managed global operations. In 2018, he took over the role of CRO. Martin will continue his involvement with Aras as he transitions to a role on the board with a focus on global strategy.

Marc joins Aras with extensive global enterprise sales experience and a strong background as a leader of complex corporate initiatives and projects. He has led multiple international sales acceleration initiatives, including establishing Asset Performance Management, Supply Chain Management businesses, and Cloud businesses with triple digit growth and enabling sales teams to drive cross portfolio solution-based offerings and long-term customer loyalty and development. He has proven to pilot large teams through change by empowerment, fostering team cohesiveness and building unparalleled loyalty.

Prior to Aras, Marc was head of Global Strategic Programs at AVEVA where he led the global sales go-to-market strategy and revenue generating strategic transformation initiatives. He was a key contributor to double-digit growth and two times stock price valuation through innovative new business objectives. Before that, he held a variety of positions where he was a successful sales leader in accelerating company advancement by delivering consistent double-digit growth across international operations.
