Amify Hits $100 Million in Annual Gross Merchandise Value for Clients Selling on Amazon

Amify, the first Amazon-as-a-Service provider, announced a new milestone in its work to help brands to optimize their presence, margins and sales on the Amazon Marketplace. The company has reached an annual run rate of $100 million in gross merchandise value (GMV) for its customers in terms of goods sold. This represents a 600% increase in GMV under management over the past year from both new and existing clients and establishes the company as the largest service provider focused on third party (3P) sellers.

“While there are dozens of companies offering services in the Amazon ecosystem, none provide the breadth of outsourced end-to-end services that Amify does, which has helped us grow our business significantly”

While helping brands to market themselves and their products effectively on Amazon with award-winning advertising and content, Amify also manages its customers’ storefronts, oversees inventory and demand planning, and handles customer service and returns. Amify refers to its unique approach as being a provider of “Amazon-as-a-Service.” The company develops and executes a customized Amazon strategy for clients that aligns with that client’s broader sales and ecommerce goals.

Outpacing a record setting ecommerce market that grew from 16% to a high of more than 25% of overall retail sales over the past year, Amify is responsible for its clients’ average growth on Amazon of 150%. In addition to growing current clients, the company’s total client base also significantly expanded year over year.

“While there are dozens of companies offering services in the Amazon ecosystem, none provide the breadth of outsourced end-to-end services that Amify does, which has helped us grow our business significantly,” said Ethan McAfee, founder and CEO, Amify. “Brands have many competing channel priorities, and they see Amify as the partner they can trust long-term with both their Amazon strategy and execution to ensure that their presence on the largest ecommerce site in the world is executed to its fullest advantage.”

Given current projections, Amify expects to achieve a GMV run rate of $200 million by the end of 2021. This number represents only sales for which Amify is directly responsible.
