By demonstrating its outstanding innovations and business acumen in alignment with Intel Network Builders’ mission, Advantech was honored as one of Intel’s 2020 Winner’s Circle Members. Additionally, Advantech’s MIC-730AI Edge AI inference System was a recipient of a 2020 IoT Edge Computing Excellence Award, which recognizes companies as leaders in the growing edge computing space that have proven that their products are enabling advanced IoT deployments through edge solutions.

This past year, Advantech was laser-focused on embracing its core values of environmental stewardship, social responsibility and corporate governance (ESG) to further its vision of enabling a more intelligent planet. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Advantech developed a suite of highly innovative solutions to help reduce the risk and spread of COVID-19. One such solution is an AI-based infection prevention solution. Advantech’s Visitor Thermal Screening System, released earlier this year, can measure human body temperate from a distance and quickly pinpoints individuals within a group of people who have abnormal temperatures through a thermographic smart camera, video AI facial recognition and thermal screening. It’s ideal for small or large organizations screening employees and visitors.
