LogRhythm provides community support through the Logiving Committee — a group of employees dedicated to giving back through financial support, global community outreach and education. Separately, LogRhythm’s co-founders established the LogRhythm Community Fund to aid those impacted by the pandemic and to support frontline organizations providing relief.

Over the past several months, these groups have made a concerted effort to support both individuals and organizations that have been impacted by the pandemic. Of note, the Logiving Committee established a relief fund to provide monetary assistance for non-profits serving the community, including the Emergency Family Assistance Association, St. Vrain Valley School District, Community Food Share, Meals on Wheels Boulder, The OUR Center, Colorado Friendship and more. Along with this, the LogRhythm Community Fund has awarded almost $30,000 in grants for a variety of purposes, including covering individual medical expenses, assisting small businesses, aiding animal rescue organizations, and supporting the Make-a-Wish Foundation.

“At LogRhythm, we believe it’s important to go beyond helping organizations address critical busines problems at a technical level. It’s also part of our mission and company values to help our local and international communities solve the issues that impact us on a personal level,” said Mark Logan, CEO of LogRhythm. “We’ve been humbled to have the chance to work with and support so many terrific individuals and organizations, and we will continue to prioritize these efforts long after the pandemic has passed.”

In addition to philanthropic COVID-19 efforts, LogRhythm developed resources to help organizations safeguard themselves against increasing security threats during the pandemic. These included roundtables with security experts to teach others how to secure their remote workforces, even by specifically sharing what LogRhythm did to ensure a safe and smooth transition for its employees to remote work. The company also developed overviews for its customers on how to best use the LogRhythm NextGen SIEM Platform to protect their organizations during times of crisis, including from specific attacks that arose from the pandemic, like COVID-19-specific phishing campaigns and Zoombombing.
