Live Event Attendance in Chicago to hit 20,009,925 attendees in Last Half of 2021, Roughly 8% of H2 2019 Levels, 47% for the year

New data from demand intelligence company PredictHQ shows that live event attendance in Chicago is expected to reach 20,009,925 attendees in the back half of 2021. This is a significant increase over the first 6 months of 2021, which only saw 1,739,118 attendees – a 1,150% increase.

Compared to 2019, attendance at live events in Chicago will hit roughly 47% of pre-pandemic levels, which previously stood at 46,625,213 attendees.

The number of events in the latter half of 2021 is also on its way to recovery, with 2,541 events scheduled to take place in-person through December, about 26% of Chicago’s 2019 levels.
