The Annual IoT Breakthrough Awards Program again Recognizes the maker of the IoT Platform CSensorNet and offeror of IoT-as-a-Service, Clovity, as a Standout Internet-of-Things Company for the Second Year in a Row
Silicon Valley based emerging technology and IoT Platform provider, Clovity, today announces that it has been selected as the winner of the prestigious “Global IoT Innovation Vendor of the Year” award. This is the 5th annual IoT Breakthrough Awards program conducted by IoT Breakthrough, a leading market intelligence organization that recognizes the top companies, technologies and products in the global Internet-of-Things (IoT) market today. Other winners alongside Clovity this year included Apple, Sonos, Johnson Controls, Cisco, Amazon, Fujitsu, Rockwell Automation, Schneider Electric, Nest, GE as well as Clovity IoT partners, Qualcomm and Lenovo. This is Clovity’s second IoT Breakthrough award 2 years running. In 2020, Clovity was recognized as “Emerging Company of the Year For the Enterprise Market.”

The forward thinking IoT company, using its IoT platform CSensorNet, developed a touchless, automated thermal screening solution to help continually scan for elevated temperatures and ensure that staff, as well as visitors, at essential businesses were not potentially infectious on the premises. Using Artificial Intelligence, Clovity further developed a facial recognition component to the solution to establish a ‘facial library’ to identify and “learn” every employee – enabling safe and healthy tracking and tracing. By utilizing an IoT platform on the back end of these solutions, Clovity has made the system “enterprise ready” to automate interactions between other back end systems like badging, access, LDAP, security, monitored infrastructure, and more. While the Covid-19 pandemic will end eventually, the appetite of employers letting their employees come in sick or symptomatic may forever become a relic of a bygone era, thus making this solution able to provide value well into the future through its integration with our existing Smart Building solution set.
“We are extremely proud to have contributed our IoT solutions and technology for good, helping hospitals, public buildings, schools, and private companies get back to a new normal in a safe and ‘natural’ way,” said Anuj Sachdeva, CEO at Clovity. “Using IoT to become Smarter and Touchless has allowed us to help with the COVID-19 pandemic – and beyond. We are grateful that IoT Breakthrough recognizes our efforts and on-going commitment to using IoT for the greater good.”

Clovity continues to enhance the capabilities of its platform and establish close partner relationships to consistently launch new bundles similar to their awarded Smart Thermal bundle. Currently bundles for Smart Manufacturing, Asset Tracking, Smart Badging, and more are being deployed and further refined to expand Clovity’s ever-growing product and vertical offerings.
The mission of the IoT Breakthrough Awards program is to recognize the innovators, leaders and visionaries from around the globe in a range of IoT categories, including Industrial and Enterprise IoT, Smart City technology, Connected Home and Home Automation, Connected Car, and many more. This year’s program attracted more than 3,850 nominations from companies all over the world.
“These new capabilities from Clovity will extend far beyond the pandemic. Providing entities with Smart Tracking and Tracing, Smart Facility Sterilization and Touchless Thermal Scanners will create safe environments for years to come,“ said James Johnson, managing director at IoT Breakthrough. “Congratulations to the entire team at Clovity. We are thrilled to award them again this year – this time for ‘Global IoT Innovation Vendor of the Year’ for 2021. We look forward to further innovation going forward.”
