Arctic Wolf’s presence in Toronto

Arctic Wolf’s creation of an R&D center of excellence in Toronto deepens its relationship and investment in the Toronto-Waterloo Corridor—a burgeoning cybersecurity talent hub in Ontario, Canada. Arctic Wolf’s Waterloo office is currently the company’s largest facility and home to the company’s first security operations center (SOC) and 100% of its R&D activities.

Arctic Wolf’s Toronto facility will serve as an extension of its Waterloo office and provide greater location flexibility to R&D talent throughout southwestern Ontario and the Greater-Toronto Area (GTA). The Toronto office will focus on artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data science capabilities that will further enhance the Arctic Wolf Platform. Between the two offices in Ontario, the company plans to hire more than 125 new positions by the end of 2021.

“Close to 40% of the Arctic Wolf team is based in Ontario today, and our recent $1.3 billion valuation is a testament to the team and a reflection of the quality of technical talent in the region,” said Michael Morrissey, Senior Vice President of R&D, Arctic Wolf. “We are committed to growing our employee, partner, and customer footprint in Canada for the years to come.”
