Cognism has announced the acquisition of Kaspr, a Paris-based sales prospecting provider, focused on providing easy access to prospecting data. The acquisition delivers Cognism greater access to the French market with an additional data source to rapidly expand its own database. Kaspr’s entry level sales intelligence solution is deepening Cognism’s expertise and database as well as expanding our team with local knowledge, allowing the company to serve earlier stage businesses and individual contributors.
Kaspr was founded four years ago with the vision to fill a gap in the market for accurate prospecting data in the French marketplace. Today it has around 1,500 customers and 50,000 users serviced by a team of 14 employees.
“We’re looking forward to Kaspr becoming a part of Cognism, and we’re working with the Kaspr team to plan and coordinate all go-to-market activities. We will merge Kaspr’s data into Cognism products as soon as possible, which will provide nearly 30% more mobile coverage in key markets.”

Allan Benguigui, Founder and CEO of Kaspr, shared Isilay’s excitement.
“At the end of 2018 we launched Kaspr with the aim of becoming the first French B2B data provider. Three years later, we have become a must-have tool in the French market with over 1500 active customers and 50,000 users.
“We will launch in six new countries – before September – with the aim of further strengthening our group’s European ownership.”
“I’m really excited about this acquisition, and I look forward to working with this talented team to achieve great things together. My main goal now is to contribute to our success,” Benguigui added.

Kaspr has a large contact database of over 160 million contacts with email and 30 million with mobile phone numbers across France, UK, US, Germany, and Spain, delivering greater access to the French marketplace for Cognism – a company that is already a European market leader.
“Thanks to Kaspr’s pricing structure, we can also offer a new product-led growth (PLG) business model – allowing a freemium product line with individual users buying with their credit cards via a website, which can be expanded to other markets.
“This acquisition further cements Cognism’s position as a leader in GDPR compliant contact data for EMEA,” concludes Isilay.
