With this update, governance and cloud center of excellence (CCoE) teams can manage their cloud environments while providing governance and compliance consistency throughout the CI/CD pipeline.
Cloudify announced the integration of the Cloudify infrastructure automation platform with ServiceNow IT Operations Management (ITOM), part of the platform for digital workflows, the Now Platform®. The Cloudify platform has received certification with ServiceNow and is available in the ServiceNow Store. The integration of Cloudify with ITOM allows technology teams to assess compliance and automatically remediate cloud resource configuration in collaboration with development teams.
CCoE teams can now validate resources through ServiceNow Cloud Configuration Governance (CCG) and trigger remediation actions that are automatically executed through Cloudify for environments that were deployed through ServiceNow or CI/CD pipelines. Developers can enjoy a self-service experience needed to rapidly spin up and tear down dev/test environments with minimal effort, as well as simplifying change management of production environments.
The Now Platform delivers digital workflows that create great user experiences and unlock productivity for employees and the enterprise. ServiceNow provides the market-leading platform for enterprises to manage IT processes, change requests and approval workflows.

The Cloudify platform features a unique Environment-as-a-Service (EaaS) technology designed to simplify and optimize deployments and continuous management of any cloud, private data center or Kubernetes service from one, central point while leveraging existing toolchains such as Jenkins, CircleCI, GitHub Actions, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, Cloud Formation, Azure ARM and more.
The integration of Cloudify with the Now Platform equips enterprises with an agile-first approach for creating, sharing and managing cloud environments. The Now Platform serves as the workflow automation engine for governance and changes, while Cloudify automates the environment creation process and Day 2 management of those environments.
“This integration of ServiceNow’s ITOM solution with Cloudify’s DevOps Environment-as-a-Service solution democratizes cloud environment management while ensuring governance and control,” said Ariel Dan, CEO at Cloudify. “Now DevOps can manage heterogeneous cloud environments at scale while being in compliance with IT processes, enabling their organization to manage end-customer environments as well as internal Dev/QA/Production environments more efficiently.”
“Developers are always being asked to move faster and push new features to production quickly,” said Brian Emerson, VP and GM of ITOM at ServiceNow. “Democratizing infrastructure environments from development to production is critical if this is going to be repeatable, reliable and secure. With this integration, ServiceNow customers will be able to give their developers the confidence to ship code, knowing that the environments their code runs in will not only deliver the performance their apps require, but they will do so with compliance and security baked in, all accessible from the Now Platform.”

*Agility and Process: Compatible Goals*
With Cloudify and ITOM, users can accelerate provisioning and management of multi-cloud infrastructure deployments while maintaining efficiency and preserving consistency between DevOps and IT teams. The deep integration of Cloudify with ITOM enables users to automate best practices in multi-cloud infrastructure while keeping efficiency and consistency between DevOps and IT teams:
- Regulate policies and automate configuration compliance and tag standardization on multi-cloud infrastructure: IT teams can define configuration and tags policies with ITOM Governance, as well as identify violation and execute remediation changes by ITOM Governance & Cloudify.
- Eliminate compliance interruptions between DevOps and IT: Maintain the state of the deployed environment with Cloudify, enabling IT operators to remediate violations through ServiceNow, while sustaining a single pane of glass between CI/CD pipelines and ServiceNow remediation actions.
- Reduce remediation downtime: Execution of remediation actions on deployed environments (day-2 operations) without taking the environment down.
