Channel Sales Expert Takes on Newly Created Role to Manage Aryaka’s Record Growth in Indirect Sales Pipeline
Aryaka, the leader in fully managed SD-WAN and SASE solutions, announced today the appointment of Matt Thompson as its new Vice President of Channel Sales. The newly created role is dedicated to helping the Aryaka Channel Team to grow the indirect sales funnel, create new partner engagement and drive sales growth results.
Thompson joined Aryaka Networks in October 2021 as Channel Sales Director – Pacific. In his new role as Vice President of Channel Sales, Thompson will be responsible for:
- Channel sales in North America
- Continuing to recruit the North American Aryaka Channel Team
- Driving sales and pipeline growth
- Setting the Aryaka Channel Team up for success
- Identifying and creating strategic partnerships and alternate routes to market

Thompson has two decades of experience in the telecommunications industry, with more than 10 years working in the channel. Prior to Aryaka, Thompson spent more than 10 years at Lumen Technologies (previously CenturyLink and Level 3 Communications) in channel sales roles, including Director of Channel Sales, Senior Channel Manager and Channel Manager III. Previously, Thompson served as a Client Services Manager at PlanetOne Communications. Thompson began his telecom career in Account Executive roles at Quest Communications and Eschelon Telecom.
