Company Appoints Neil McLoughlin as Field CTO to Drive Business Expansion in the UK

Keynote from Microsoft CVP Gavriella Schuster Kicks off the 2-Day, Virtual Event to Help Managed Service Providers Build Successful Cloud Practices with Windows Virtual Desktop

Nerdio, the definitive Azure deployment, management, and optimization solution for Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and enterprise IT professionals, today announced a significant global growth investment with the launch of a new office in the United Kingdom, led by Neil McLoughlin. McLoughlin will officially join Nerdio in February of 2021. Nerdio’s expansion to the UK comes on the heels of greater than 300 percent YoY growth in 2020 for the company and massive adoption of its Nerdio Manager for WVD product since its launch in February 2020.

As Field CTO, Neil McLoughlin will soon head Nerdio’s new UK office and be responsible for developing, incubating and commercializing new growth initiatives for Nerdio in the UK. Neil brings over 20 years of experience in the IT Industry, with a specialized focus on end-user computing (EUC) and virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) as it relates to desktop as a service (DaaS), Windows Virtual Desktop (WVD) and Microsoft Azure. He is also the co-founder of the WVD Community and the UK WVD User Group.

Inaugural NerdioCon Virtual Conference

Nerdio today also announced the details of the company’s inaugural virtual conference, NerdioCon, to be held January 26-27, 2021. NerdioCon will bring together customers, partners and industry visionaries to provide Managed Service Providers (MSPs) with best practices and resources to build a successful cloud practice in WVD.

New Innovations
After launching Nerdio Manager for WVD in early 2020, the platform has been adopted by more than 1,000 enterprise organizations to date, with over 50 EUC partners who are committed to delivering Native WVD with Nerdio Manager for WVD. Nerdio is now preparing to deliver a new product that will push the channel forward in its continued shift to the cloud with Windows Virtual Desktop. During NerdioCon, Nerdio CEO, Vadim Vladimirskiy will unveil the company’s new solution that will enable MSPs to automatically deploy, manage, and optimize a complete WVD environment within an hour.
