Chris Ortbals to lead Tangoe product strategy and execution
Tangoe, the industry leader in technology expense management, managed mobility services, and cloud service expense management, announced that Chris Ortbals has joined its executive team as Chief Product Officer (CPO). As an experienced leader in software and services, Ortbals will be responsible for the strategy and execution of the next generation of Tangoe products.

Ortbals comes to Tangoe with over two decades of product, technology, and management experience in the IT, cloud, telecommunications, and internet services industries. His deep-rooted knowledge in product development for global technology companies will allow him to focus on key enterprise initiatives that incorporate customer feedback and transcend customized solutions.

Prior to joining Tangoe, Ortbals held various senior leadership positions at Newfold Digital, QTS, Sungard Availability Services, Cbeyond, and Savvis.

Ortbals will step into the CPO role allowing for Yaakov Shapiro to focus his role as Chief Technology Officer with increased investment in R&D.
