LetsGetChecked, a leading virtual care company, announced a new hire to its executive team: respected healthcare and digital health veteran, Mike Smit, who will act as the company’s SVP of Sales, effective immediately. Smit joins the LetsGetChecked team during a high-growth period for the company following the recent announcement of its $150 Million Series D Fundraise with plans to expand its comprehensive virtual care capabilities.

Smit, who has spent over 20 years in the industry, has previously held roles at and consulted for UnitedHealthcare, Hewitt Associates, and Galileo with a focus on commercial sales. With a long track record of success scaling and driving revenue for high-growth organizations in the healthcare sector, Smit will bring his extensive experience to LetsGetChecked at this pivotal time for the company.

As SVP of Sales for LetsGetChecked, Smit will work closely with the Client Success and Marketing teams to develop strategies for multiple lines of business and manage relationships with key decision-makers, brokers, consultants, and influencers.
