Former DealerPolicy exec brings technology, startup, and insurance experience to the role.
Veruna, developer of the insurance industry’s leading agency management system (AMS) built on the Salesforce platform, is pleased to announce that Chris Marcus has joined the company as Chief Technology Officer.
As CTO, Marcus’s immediate focus will be optimizing the company’s development and implementation processes while providing technology leadership to drive the company’s ongoing solution innovation and business growth. Longer term, Marcus will lead strategic efforts to expand and evolve Veruna’s product offerings to continue bringing new features, functionality, scalability and flexibility to help insurance agencies thrive in an industry undergoing rapid change.

Prior to joining Veruna, Marcus most recently served as CTO and VP R&D of DealerPolicy, an insurtech startup focused on embedded insurance in the automotive distribution channel. He has also held leadership roles in research and development (R&D), software development, and engineering at companies including Mediware Information Systems, Vertek Corporation, CONIX and GE Healthcare.
