Precisely Named a Leader in Location Intelligence by Independent Research Firm

Evaluation Cites Innovation in Areas Such as Data Products and Geo-data Enrichment as Key Strengths

Precisely, the global leader in data integrity, announced that it has been named a Leader in The Forrester Wave™: Location Intelligence Platforms, Q2 2020. The evaluation, conducted before Syncsort became Precisely in May, assessed the current offering, strategies, and market presence of the most significant providers.

For its Wave, Forrester considered Precisely’s location intelligence and data enrichment solutions. These offerings enable customers to enhance decisions with business, location, and consumer data and then turn that data into actionable insights that drive superior outcomes. The core portfolio includes Precisely Spectrum Spatial, Precisely Spectrum Geocoding and Precisely MapInfo.

Forrester evaluated a total of nine vendors for the Wave, with just two being named leaders. Precisely was specifically cited for its “extensive capabilities [that] target commercial firms….” The company received the highest ranking in the strategy category and the highest score possible in the product vision and data products criteria.

“[Precisely’s] vision for the location intelligence platform is to operationalize geospatial technology and data to support the most demanding enterprise applications while maintaining service levels,” the report stated. “[Its] record for innovation in areas such as data products and geo-data enrichment are a key strength.”
