Cognitiv Announces Frank Guzzardo As Senior Vice President Of Sales

 Cognitiv, the first self-learning, fully automated neural network technology available for marketers, has named Frank Guzzardo as its Senior Vice President of Sales. In this role as part of the executive team, Guzzardo will spearhead the company’s sales strategy and accelerate growth through innovative sales strategies and building relationships with new and existing clients and industry partners. Guzzardo will report to Cognitiv co-founder & CEO Jeremy Fain.

“As a seasoned sales leader with nearly 20 years experience in digital sales, Frank brings the right combination of sales leadership, ad-tech expertise and operational experience required to help guide Cognitiv through the next phase of growth,” said Fain. “His deep industry expertise and track record in scaling high growth, innovative businesses will allow us to further increase our revenue and customer base.”

Guzzardo comes to Cognitiv from WorkReduce, where he served as Vice President of Enterprise Sales providing virtual staffing for programmatic marketers, agencies and DSP’s. Prior to WorkReduce, Guzzardo was Vice President of Sales for The Exchange Lab opening their US office in 2014, where he built out their US sales team and grew sales from zero to $12 million in less than 2 years when it was acquired by WPP. He continued to lead the team until 2018. As Vice President of Sales East at Blue Lithium, he opened the New York office where he built the company’s online advertising network sales team, culminating in a $300 million dollar sale to Yahoo in 2007. Guzzardo was instrumental in spearheading the integration of Blue Lithium’s sales team with Right Media forming  the Yahoo! Ad Network, which quickly claimed the number one position among all ad networks in terms of uniques, impressions and revenue.
