Keelvar – the leading global provider of intelligent sourcing optimization and automation solutions – announced further expansion into global supply chain-driven enterprises with the addition of 11 new customers ending its third quarter. This follows the company’s record growth in the first half of 2021. Year to date, 21 new global enterprises have selected the company’s SaaS solutions for sourcing optimization and intelligent sourcing automation.

New customers added include Microsoft; Tesco PLC; Royal FrieslandCampina; Mauser Packaging Solutions; KK Wind Solutions; Musgrave Group Ltd., Ireland’s leading food retail, wholesale and foodservice company; and others in retail, consumer goods, food and beverage manufacturing, logistics, and diversified manufacturing.

As a result of its growing roster of customers across industries, Keelvar is seeing deeper application in indirect and direct materials spend categories, such as ingredients, components, facility and professional services, and MRO, in addition to its bedrock handling of logistics and packaging procurement challenges. Sustainable sourcing is also increasing in practice within the Keelvar platform, said Holland.

In the past quarter, the company has made a number of key organizational advancements and has seen overall 50% growth of its workforce since the start of 2021. Keelvar added a new head of product, John Leenane, who brings over 20 years of tech solution and product planning experience to expand the company’s product team and processes to support increasing delivery demand. The company appointed a VP of customer success, Valentina Roques, as well as customer success and service personnel in the U.S. to support its expanding North America user base. The company also recently hired a new head of people, Fiona Kelleher.

Additionally, the company recently achieved ISO 27001:2013 certification for its Information Security Management System (ISMS), to meet rising IT security requirements among mid-sized and enterprise clients.
