Precisely, the global leader in data integrity, announced the expansion of its executive leadership team with Eric Yau joining as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Craig Zajac as SVP, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary to the Board. The new appointments come two weeks after Precisely launched as the new company formed by Syncsort’s acquisition of the Pitney Bowes software and data business. Precisely has 2,000 employees and 12,000 customers in more than 100 countries, including 90 of the Fortune 100.

Yau is Precisely’s first COO, with responsibility for the company’s full software and data portfolio as well as transformation and integration initiatives. Yau will play an instrumental role in Precisely’s evolution, helping guide the company and product strategy as it expands its leadership position in data integrity.
Yau brings more than 25 years of senior leadership experience, most recently serving as EVP, Software at RMS where he transformed the company from a catastrophe modeling business into the industry-leading insurance risk data and analytics platform. Before RMS, Yau was SVP of Solutions at BMC Software with responsibility for the full $2.2B software portfolio as well as cloud operations and support. Prior to BMC, Yau was VP, Business Intelligence & Performance Management at IBM. He is a graduate of the University of Waterloo and holds a degree in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering.
