“Innovation is driving growth in the global economy”

Although Dynamics 365 has thousands of customers and millions of active users globally and across industries, there is a lack of modern data protection options available. OwnBackup is uniquely positioned to fill this void with the company’s deep experience in SaaS data protection.

“Restoring data with native Dynamics 365 backup services is a complex, time-consuming process. It requires administrators to revert back to a specific point in time, meaning they will lose all relevant business data added since the last backup was performed,” said Adrian Kunzle, CTO of OwnBackup. “OwnBackup Recover eliminates these issues with automated daily backups and the ability to easily identify and isolate unwanted data deletions, changes, or additions, then restores the precise data affected without disruption to the business.”

According to the award submission, Recover helps customers protect 100% of their Dynamics 365 data in the cloud, proactively alerts data administrators about suspect data changes, and restores only the affected data on a field level in just a few clicks. The solution reduces the risk of data loss or corruption impacting business operations and helps companies adhere to complex data compliance regulations.

Dynamics 365 is the first SaaS platform for OwnBackup to support outside of Salesforce, where they have over 4,000 customers and are recognized as the market leader. Companies using their Recover product for Dynamics 365 include Starkey Hearing Technologies and Illinois Mutual, amongst others. The expansion into Dynamics is the first step in their mission to empower customers to truly own and protect their data on any SaaS platform.

“Innovation is driving growth in the global economy,” said Maria Jimenez, chief operating officer of the Business Intelligence Group. “We are thrilled to be honoring OwnBackup as they are one of the organizations leading this charge and helping humanity progress.”
